Warne dismisses McCullum exactly as he predicted on TVLondon, Dec 21: Cricket fans were left over awed when Shane Warne dismissed Kiwi batsman Brendon McCullum in Australia’s Big Bash Twenty20 competition in his own swaggering fashion. The unique thing about this dismissal was that even before dismissing McCullum, he had told television commentators about the outcome, reports The Telegraph Throughout his long career, Warne has enjoyed the reputation of being a fighter. When he came back from a serious shoulder injury, he was forced to eliminate ‘googly’ from his arsenal of lethal deliveries but that didn’t stop him from giving nightmares, even to the best batsmen of the world. He spent his last days in Test cricket bowling precise leg-breaks. While bowling for Melbourne Stars against Brisbane Heat, Warne put the mike on and informed the TV commentary team about the kind of delivery he was going to bowl and anticipated the outcome with utmost precision. © ANI |
