South Africa win toss and bat in second one-dayer![]() South Africa lead the five-match series 1-0

Stand-in South African captain Johan Botha won the toss and decided to bat in the second day-night international match against Pakistan here on Sunday. South Africa, who lead the five-match series 1-0 on account of winning the first match by eight wickets, lost captain Graeme Smith who injured his hand on Friday, and was replaced by Robin Peterson. They also lost all-rounder Jacques Kallis, who suffered cramps in the first game, and brought in all-rounder Albie Morkel. Pakistan left out paceman Umar Gul and included left-am fast bowler Wahab Riaz. The five-match one-day series will be followed by two Tests.
