New Zealand to start West Indies tour with games in AmericaWellington, Apr 12 : The New Zealand cricket team will start their mid-year tour to the West Indies with two Twenty20 internationals in Florida, followed by five one-day internationals and two test matches. West Indies Cricket released the full tour schedule today, confirming two short-form matches at Lauderhill, Florida, on June 30 and July 1, will launch the series. The matches will be played at Central Broward Regional Park Cricket Stadium, the only ICC-approved cricket stadium in North America, about 50km miles from Miami. The two teams will then head to Jamaica for the first two of five ODIs, at Sabina Park in Kingston, with the remaining three 50-over matches at Warner Park in St Kitts, stuff.co.nz reports. The tourists will face a West Indies selection side in a three day warm-up match at Antigua from July 20-22 before facing the hosts in the first test, also at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, from July 25.
