Morkel takes top spot in ICC ODI rankings

London, Oct.27 : South African speedster Morne Morkel''s 4-22 in the Proteas'' win over Australia in Port Elizabeth on Sunday has helped him to the top of the ICC''s one-day bowlers'' rankings.

Morkel has jumped four places to overtake Englishman Graeme Swann, who drops to third, with New Zealand''s Daniel Vettori remaining second, the Sydney Morning Herald reports. Morkel''s compatriot Hashim Amla is the No.1-ranked ODI batsman.

In the Test ratings, Dale Steyn tops the bowlers list and fellow South African Jacques Kallis is the leading batsman.
