Levi says it was good fun to smash T20's fastest centuryJohannesburg, Feb 20: South African batsman Richard Levi has said it was good fun for him to smash Twenty20’s fastest century against New Zealand at Auckland in the second of the three Twenty20 match series. “It was good fun. Every shot I played seemed to come off. The leg-side boundary on (one) side of the wicket is fairly short so I was trying to target it,” Sports24 quoted Levi, as saying during a televised interview. Levi’s brilliant knock came in 51 balls and included 13 sixes and five fours. West Indies opener Chris Gayle held the previous record for maximum sixes in a Twenty20 international with 10, while Gayle and Brendon McCullum had shared the record for fastest T20 century in 50 balls. © ANI |
