Legendary Muralitharan to play for Gloucestershire's second-string team in EnglandLondon, June 11: Legendary off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan will feature in English county club Gloucestershire’s second XI team on Monday as a preparation for the upcoming Friends Life T20 tournament. Muralitharan will play in the first of two Twenty20 matches that Gloucestershire will play today against Worcestershire at Nevil Road in Bristol. The county wants the world record holder to acclimatize to English conditions ahead of the Friends Life T20 tournament, Island Cricket reports. The off spinner may also play in more second XI fixtures this week, with Gloucestershire scheduled to play against Somerset at Taunton Vale on Tuesday and Warwickshire at Bristol on Wednesday. © ANI |
