Injury woes now rule Watson out of Big Bash semi-finalMelbourne, Jan 20: Australian all- rounder Shane Watson has been ruled out for the Big Bash’s semi –final due to an injury. Watson was unable to prove his fitness to play for the Sydney Sixers against the Hobart Hurricanes as a batsman in the January 22 match, thetelegrpah.com.au reports. He has already been ruled out of the last Test against India in Adelaide. Watson had not played for two months after suffering a hamstring strain during the second Test against South Africa in Johannesburg. The problem was compounded when Watson suffered a calf strain. © ANI |
