Perth, Jan 16 : Australian bowler Ben Hilfenhaus has emerged as the frontman of the pace attack, as evident from his three- wicket haul off five balls during the Perth Test series against India.
He was instrumental in wrapping up the Perth game within two and a half days to ensure his team stays fresh for the fourth Test in Adelaide.
His stunning performance comes after Cricket Australia selectors were convinced that he is a different bowler from last summer, and included him in Test squad against India.
Under Cricket Australia''s new rotation policy, Hilfenhaus, who has bowled a series high 134.5 overs in the series is in line be rested for the Adelaide Test but Clarke stressed that need for Hilfenhaus or Peter Siddle to sit out had been reduced by a swift win in the Perth Test.
''''Two-and-a-half-day Test matches help, that''s for sure. I believe that has saved a few of us, the distance the Test matches have gone gives you an extra day, in this case a few days off so with a good week before we even get to Adelaide I imagine they will be very fresh again and looking forward to playing that Test,'''' The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Clarke, as saying.

Meanwhile, Australian coach Mickey Arthur backed batsman Shaun Marsh to bounce back in the fourth Test.
