Former England pace bowler Ryan Sidebottom has agreed to rejoin his old county Yorkshire from next season.
Sidebottom left Nottinghamshire after helping them win the English County Championship last month and has quickly secured a three-year contract to return to Headingley, where he started his career in 1997.
The 32-year-old had enjoyed a successful spell at Yorkshire before his 2004 move to Nottinghamshire, where he won two championships and broke back into the England team after a six-year absence.
Sidebottom took 79 wickets in 22 Tests for England but decided to retire from international cricket last month and will now focus all his attention on enjoying a successful end to his career at Yorkshire.
"I have enjoyed my time at Trent Bridge and with England enormously, but I'm a Yorkshire lad and the opportunity to return to Headingley to end my career was something I couldn't ignore," Sidebottom said.
"The Yorkshire side has some real quality and under Martyn Moxon and Andrew Gale made real strides forward.
"I want to give the county everything I can over the next three years and if we can reward the Yorkshire public with a trophy or two that would be fantastic."
