England will KO Proteas, rule cricket for a decade: MalcolmLondon, July 15: Former England fast bnowler Devon Malcolm believes that the Andrew Strauss-led home squad will knock the South Africans out in the forthcoming three-Test match series. He also is confident about England topping the international cricket chart for the next decade. “It is going to be a great series and very close as they are clearly the best two Test sides in the world,” Malcolm told the Daily Star Sunday. He added: ”Though South Africa have a good team with an excellent bowling attack, I just cannot see them eating this England side. The South Africans will be up against a very confident and well-drilled England team.” “These guys are firing in all departments: batting, bowling and fielding. The South African boys are going to face a top, top team,” Malcolm said. He added: “The side that gets ahead will probably win the series as it’s only short – but I can’t see any result other than an England win.” “And if England do come out on top, I believe they will stay No.1 for the next decade,” Malcolm said. © ANI |
