An early lunch was taken after rain delayed the start of play on the fifth and final day of the second and final Test between South Africa and Australia at the Wanderers Stadium on Monday. With the weather clearing, the covers were removed at 11:50am and play was due to start at 1pm, three hours later than planned. More rain was possible during the afternoon. The match was evenly poised with Australia on 142 for three chasing a target of 310. South Africa lead the series 1-0. |
