Colombo, Sept 12: Indian skipper M.S.Dhoni on Wednesday said that batsmen and part time bowlers will be crucial to India’s chances at the T20 World Cup that commences here on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference here, Dhoni said, “Batsman will be the match winning factor, plus four overs from the part timers will be crucial.”
“Most of our batsmen and bowlers have played lot of T20 cricket, which means they have got the kind of experience needed. All these part timers, like Yuvraj, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina can chip in with one over each,” he added.
On Yuvraj’s return to the team after his successful bout with a rare germ-cell cancer, the Captain said that he is happy to have him back in the side.
“We are happy to have Yuvraj back. He is a champion player, and brings a lot of balance to the side, especially in T20,” Dhoni added.
