Australia won the toss and decided to bat in the fifth day-night international against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi Stadium on Sunday.

Australia have an unbeatable 3-1 lead after winning the second, third and fourth matches. Pakistan won the first match in the series last week.

Australia brought in pacemen Ben Hilfenhaus and Ben Laughlin in place of Stuart Clark and Nathan Bracken.

Pakistan brought back paceman Umar Gul -- surprisingly rested for Friday's crucial match -- in place of all-rounder Sohail Tanvir.

All-rounder Shahid Afridi, who suffered a calf injury in the last match, kept his place after he passed a fitness test.

Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed said Afridi had recovered quickly after treatment.

"We had feared that Afridi might not be able to play, but he responded well to treatment and passed a fitness test, so we have included him," Saeed said.

The two teams will also play a Twenty20 international in Dubai on May 7.
