Australia determined to prove World No.1 ODI ranking: BollingerDurban, Oct 26: Australian fast bowler Doug Bollinger says that his team is determined to prove their World No.1 ODI team ranking when they face South Africa in the series-decider in Durban on Friday. The three-match series is currently tied 1-1 after South Africa won the second ODI in Port Elizabeth by 80 runs. “We’re the No.1 team in the world and we pride ourselves on that in every part of the game. The best thing to do is just keep winning and just keep doing well for each other,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Bollinger, as saying. “We weren’t at our best (in Port Elizabeth) and we all know that, but that’s the way it goes and hopefully we turn up on Friday night and come with a better attitude,” he added. Meanwhile, the return from injury of left-handed batsman Shaun Marsh (shoulder) and all-rounder Shane Watson (back spasms) is expected to boost Australia’s prospects. © ANI |
