Anderson says will not tone down aggression against PakistanDubai, Jan.16 : England fast bowler James Anderson has warned that he will not tone down his aggressive style to help Anglo-Pakistani relations in Dubai. Anderson will lead England’s attack in their first Test match on United Arab Emirates soil from Tuesday and has promised to set the tone for the others. The Daily Mirror quoted him, as saying: “I don’t think the aggression will be diluted. I’ve not really thought about that. He added: “I’ve been approaching it as I would any other series. I’ll go in there and play my natural game and be as aggressive as I usually am. I don’t always get in the batsman’s face, but sometimes I do. If that opportunity arises for me in this game, it won’t be any different.” © ANI |
