England aim to bounce back in India cricket series

England coach Peter Moores is looking forward to a winning performance from his team in the crucial fourth one-day international against India starting here on Sunday.

The tourists are in a must-win situation after having lost the first three games of the seven-match series.

"It is a big game for us. If we lose, we lose the series," Moores told reporters on the eve of the day-night match.

"We have got to win here. From now on, every game is a final game for us. We need the win to get belief in ourselves."

The England coach said he was hopeful the team would put in a better display, especially after a close third match in Kanpur on Thursday when the tourists lost by 16 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis system due to bad light.

Ravi Bopara (60) and Ian Bell (46) put on 79 for the opening wicket before England were restricted to 240 in the 49-overs-a-side match. India were 198-5 in 40 overs when play was called off due to poor light.

"I think there were lots of good things to come out of it. Bopara played well, as did Bell," said Moores.

"I am disappointed we did not get a few more runs and did not get a partnership later on, but there was no lack of effort."

England paceman Ryan Sidebottom was ruled out of the match due to a back injury. He also missed the first three one-dayers.
