 England's Kevin Pietersen plays a shot during the first one-day international against South Africa South African captain Graeme Smith won the toss and decided to bat in the second one-day international of the series against England here at Trent Bridge on Tuesday. The visitors recalled Albie Morkel, who has recovered from a hamstring strain with Vernon Philander making way. England made one change from the first match at Headingley with former captain Paul Collingwood coming in for Ravi Bopara after serving a four-match suspension.
