Rain stops play in India-Sri Lanka Test

Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag

Rain stopped play after the morning session on the opening day of the second Test between India and Sri Lanka at the Galle International Stadium on Thursday.

India were 151 for no loss in their first innings at lunch after electing to bat. Virender Sehwag was unbeaten on 91 and Gautam Gambhir was on 50 not out at the break.
