India will host four Tests against Australia later this year, the cricket board said on Wednesday while announcing the dates and venues.
The Australians will arrive on September 29 and play a four-day practice match ahead of the first Test in Bangalore from October 9.
The remaining Tests will be played in Mohali, New Delhi and Nagpur, according to the schedule released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
Schedule:
Oct 2-5 : Practice match, venue to be named.
Oct 9-13 : First Test, Bangalore
Oct 17-21 : Second Test, Mohali
Oct 28-Nov 1: Third Test, New Delhi
Nov 5-9 : Fourth Test, Nagpur.
