The Intercontinental Cup match between Kenya and Canada is poised to be a close contest after Kenya fought back into contention Saturday after a disastrous start.
The hosts were 393 at stumps on the second day Saturday with all-rounder Thomas Odoyo unbeaten on 103 in pursuit of Canada's dominant 263 first innings score.
Odoyo helped craft the recovery after Kenya had struggled to overcome a strong Canadian challenge led by opening quickie Umar Bhatti who grabbed five wickets.
With some solid contributions from David Obuya (72) and Alex Obanda (83), Odoyo was in a class of his own when he marshalled the strike to frustrate the Canadian bowlers and reach a century.
His innings included 14 boundaries and a six from 161 balls.
